When Biswajit returned to Silchar after his mother died, he was taken away by the state of healthcare in his hometown.
Biswajit’s observation of a lack of basic facilities, a dearth of doctors, and a lack of medical infrastructure inspired the creation of QuickObook.

The first eight months after he started in 2016 were difficult because no appointments were scheduled using the programme, but the last three months proved to be the deciding element in QuickObook’s fate.

It has already secured Rs 50 lakhs in initial investment from the Assam government through the My Assam Start-up ID programme.
Biswajit Paul’s startup has already expanded its wings throughout three states and fifteen districts. He intends to develop throughout the entire North East.
They have also received a one crore seed fund.
The company is also developing revenue-sharing partnership options for newer cities.
