Day 4 of the “Thank God” box office haul: Ajay Devgn’s film takes in just Rs 2.75 crore

On the occasion of Diwali this week, the films “Thank God,” starring Ajay Devgn and Sidharth Malhotra, and “Ram Setu,” starring Akshay Kumar, competed with one another. Even though Akki’s comedy has done well at the box office, as the Diwali celebrations come to an end, “Thank God” has seen a decline.

The movie’s earnings dropped even more on Friday, barely bringing in a net amount of Rs 2.75 crore after an opening day haul of Rs 7.50 crore. According to Boxofficeindia, “Thank God” has only made Rs 20 crore nett in its first four days of release, which is a pretty modest sum for a Diwali movie. It will be difficult for “Thank God” to increase significantly over the upcoming weekend with these numbers. The story of a selfish man, played by Sidharth Malhotra, who ends up in Yamlok after an accident is told in the film “Thank God,” directed by Indra Kumar. Ajay Devgn’s Chitragupta offers him the chance to play a game in exchange for another chance at life. In the movie “Thank God,” Rakul Preet Singh plays the key role opposite Sidharth Malhotra.

After “Thank God,” Ajay Devgn will appear in the crime drama “Drishyam 2,” which will be released on November 18. He also has “Maidaan” and “Bholaa” in the works in addition to this. Yodha, starring Raashii Khanna, Disha Patani, and Sidharth Malhotra, is an action thriller that will soon be released.
