ODI World Cup 2023 Schedule Announced, Get Ready For The Mega Event

The International Council of Cricket (ICC) has announced the complete schedule of the biggest tournament of the year – 2023 ODI World Cup which is slated to be played in India from 5 October.

Total 10 teams will contest against each other for 46 days for winning the prestigious trophy at 10 venues of the country. While 8 teams have already qualified for the Cricket World Cup, the names of the remaining two will be known by the end of the Qualifier tournament which is being played currently in Zimbabwe.

The opening match of the tournament will be played between the defending champions England and the finalist of 2019 World Cup New Zealand at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad and the latter will certainly like to take revenge of its defeat in the finals of 2019 World Cup.

Here is the complete schedule of the tournament:

The hosts of the tournament, India will play their first match against Australia on 8 October at Chennai and India will play against the arch-rivals Pakistan on 15 October 2023 at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad.

The final will be played on 19 November at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad, a reserve day has been allotted for all the knockout matches (two semi-finals and final).
