The Indian actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is one of the most popular actresses of the current times and some time back, she opened up about her medical autoimmune condition, Myositis. Though she stated that her condition is not life-threatening, still living with this condition is a struggle for her and there are reports that Samantha is going to take a one year break from work.
Recently, Samantha took to her Instagram and announced that the shooting for Citadel: India is over and she thanked the makers for not giving up on her. She posted a photo with the makers and wrote, “And it’s a wrap on #CitadelIndia, A break doesn’t seem like a bad thing at all when you know what’s coming @rajanddk @mensit The family I didn’t know I needed Thank you for helping me fight every single battle and never ever giving up on me..I wish more than anything in the world to make you proud..Thank you for the role of a lifetime.. i.e until you write me the next”.
Citadel: India is the Indian version of Hollywood series, Citadel which starred Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Richard Madden in the lead roles.
It is being said that Samantha will be leaving for the US for the treatment of her condition and she has decided to take a break for one year for this purpose. She will also be seen in Kushi in which she is working with Vijay Deverakonda and the movie is slated to release on 1 September 2023.
