Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah, the longest running show of the Indian television garnered a lot of negative publicity after the actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal (Mrs. Roshan Sodhi) leveled serious allegations of sexual harassment against the makers – producer Asit Kumarr Modi, operations head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj.
While the makers have denied these allegations, a police complaint has been filed and police have started the investigation. Meanwhile the actress Monika Bhadoriya (Bawri) also joined in and leveled some allegations against the makers. Additionally, the actress Priya Ahuja who played the character of Rita Reporter in the show made some statements as per which she was totally ignored and wasn’t given any work after she got married to the former director of the show Malav Rajda.
Malav Rajda also quit the show around a year back so people started thinking that he and Priya are not happy with the makers but recently, Priya Ahuja cleared the air as she appeared on a chat show and stated that things just got mixed up and people started thinking that they are firing their own bullets while keeping the gun on the shoulders of others. Priya also made it clear that Asit Kumarr Modi never misbehaved with her.
