“My Account Is Hacked,” Govinda Clarifies After Viral Haryana Violence Tweet

The Bollywood actor Govinda is one of the most loved actors of the current times despite the fact that he is not seen much on the big screen but recently he got slammed by many because of a tweet that was made from his account in regard to violence that took place in Haryana.

If you are not living under the rock, you must be knowing about the communal violence because of which Haryana is burning. Though the state government is leaving no stone unturned in controlling the situation, still some incidents are getting reported and a tweet was made from Govinda’s account which read, “What have we come down to? Shame on the people who call themselves Hindus and do such things. Aman aur Shanti banaye, hum democracy hai, autocracy nahi”.

Soon some online users started slamming him but after some time, Govinda took to Instagram and issued a clarification as per which he didn’t make the tweet, his account was hacked and he will make complain to the cyber police department.  He added that he hasn’t used that account for years now and no one from his team has also made that tweet.

Here is the video which Govinda posted with the caption, “Just got a call from @mumbaigirl14 about a Tweet. I would like say that my Twitter account has been Hacked so please do not attribute the Haryana tweet to me. I have not posted it.”

We really hope that situation in Haryana comes under control soon.
