The Bollywood actress Kajol has been making headlines for the kissing scenes that she has done in a web series and some time back, she also became a target of fans of Shah Rukh Khan when she talked about the earnings of Pathaan.
Recently, the Gupt actress attended the 2023 Jagran Film Festival which took place in New Delhi and here she talked about an important topic of pay parity in the movie industry.
Kajol is known for her good sense of humour and when she was first asked about the pay parity in the film industry, she said, “ask the astrologer”.
Many other actresses have also spoken in this regard. Kajol says that India is progressing as a country and audiences are also becoming more informed because of the social media networks and also because they are getting to watch different types of content due to the advent of OTTs.
She once again gave a reference to Shah Rukh Khan’s movie, Pathaan when she said, “When you start making a ‘Wonder Woman’ for India and it does equally well as a ‘Pathaan’, then maybe there will be pay equality.”
