Dream Girl 2 will be released on 25 August 2023 and the buzz around the movie is quite ecstatic as people are very eager to watch Ayushmann Khurrana in the avatar of a woman. The good thing about the film is that the majority of the cast from the first movie entitled Dream Girl has been retained by the makers but they have changed the leading lady.
In the first part, Nushrratt Bharuccha was seen in the female lead but in the second part, it is Ananya Panday who is playing the leading lady and Nushrratt has made it clear in an interview that not getting to work in the second part has hurt her.
In an interview, Nushrratt stated that she loved working with the team in the first part and she has no idea as to why she has been replaced. She adds that only the makers can tell why they have replaced her. In the words of Nushrratt, “I am a human being, so of course it hurts. And of course it feels unfair.”
Nushrratt Bharuccha starrer Akelli which was earlier scheduled to release on 18th August is now releasing on 25th August because of some delay by the censor board.
