The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli has once again proved that he is one of the greatest batters of all times by playing a magnificent century knock against Pakistan in the Super Four clash in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023.
Former Pakistani cricketer Waqar Younis praised Virat Kohli a lot after the Indian cricketer scored his 47th ODI century and also touched the mark of 13K runs in ODIs. With this, Virat Kohli inched closer towards Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 ODI hundreds and while speaking in a sports show, Waqar Younis says that Virat Kohli is quite different from all other players including Sachin Tendulkar and the former Indian skipper will finish his career with far more centuries than anybody can think of.
Waqar Younis said, “The difference between him and other players, even Sachin Tendulkar. Sachin Tendulkar, when he finished, had 49 hundreds (ODIs). I can promise you Virat is a long way from finishing his career or being done with cricket. He will end up with a lot more (hundreds) than anybody can think.”
Waqar Younis also feels sorry for KL Rahul who has just come back from injury. He said, “I felt sorry for KL Rahul because he was coming out of injury and he had to run with this man. He runs like a crazy man. Doesn’t miss a single, doesn’t miss any extra run because he wants to be the best. He wants to be the best in anything he does, batting, fielding or running between the wickets. And what he loves himself is his work on fitness.”
We certainly agree with Waqar Younis, what do you say?
