The fraudsters are devising new ways to rob the public almost every day and it won’t be wrong to say that each one of us needs to behave in a responsible manner and remain alert if we want to save ourselves from getting cheated.
Reddit is one platform where people share their own experiences and recently one person talked about an incident which was quite weird and he also asked everyone if is it the new fraud that has started taking place.
The incident took place in Delhi, the online user who is living in Delhi for 3-4 yrs shifted to a rented house in South Delhi recently and one day the bell of his home rang when he was not expecting anyone.
There was a lady standing outside and the person wrote, “There is this lady who said “Namaste, mere bete ka shaadi hai aur isiliye mein ghar ghar jaake kanyadaan ke liye paise collect kr rahi hu.”
The person was perplexed and he told her that he doesn’t have cash at the moment so she asked him to transfer it online. He wrote, “I don’t have much in my account anyways so I wanted to show her exactly how much I had anyways but luckily there was some technical problem with UPI apps. So, I just showed her the technical issue pop-up.”
