Raj Kundra Reveals Shilpa Shetty Asked Him To Leave India After P*rn Case

The businessman Raj Kundra is currently busy with the promotion of his debut movie, UT-69 which is based on his own life after he got arrested in 2021 in connection with a p*rn case. Recently, in an interview, Raj Kundra revealed that his wife Shilpa Shetty gave him a choice of shifting the whole family to London but he refused.

Raj Kundra stated, “My wife was actually the first person to say, ‘Do you want to live abroad Raj? You left everything in London, you were born and brought up there, you moved here because I wanted to be here. But if you want, I can make things work and let’s leave the country, let’s go abroad.’ I told her that I love India and won’t leave. Log bade bade kaand kar ke, hazarao crore kamake desh se nikal jaate hain (people do big crimes, take thousands of crores and leave the country), but I have done nothing so I won’t leave the country.”

He also recounted his experience of staying in jail as he said, “I had really broken down, enough to probably end things inside. I won’t use the word, but I was in a… There was so much humiliation, reputational damage. Because of me, media went behind my wife, children and parents. That was painful. I knew what was going on outside.”

Raj Kundra was in jail for almost 2 months before getting bail and in a letter written to CBI, he alleged that all this is happening with him because of a rival businessman and some officers of Mumbai Police are also involved in this conspiracy.
