The young Indian cricketer Riyan Parag may have failed in making any impact in the IPL while playing for Rajasthan Royals but currently he is making headlines for his performances in the domestic cricket. The 21 years old youngster who often gets trolled for his poor performance, attitude, etc. is getting praised for his performances in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, Vijay Hazare Trophy and Deodhar Trophy as well.
Riyan’s father Parag Das who has also played for Assam at the domestic level has a solution for improving Riyan’s performance in the IPL. Parag Das is quite sure that if his son plays at number 4 in the IPL, then he will be able to play well as he is performing pretty well in the domestic circuits while batting at number 4.
Parag Das stated, “In domestic, he is consistently playing at number 4 which is giving him enough time to get into the groove and plan the innings in his way.”
Talking about his batting position in the IPL, Parag Das said, “100% he should bat at number 4. He is a kind of player who needs a bit of time to settle in. Once he gets his eye in, he can take the match deep and win it for his side. He can play according to the situation.”
Well it will be interesting to see whether RR’s team management will listen to this suggestion or not.
