Vicky Kaushal starrer Sam Bahadur has released today and the movie is getting praised by the audiences and the critics as well. Meghna Gulzar directed movie is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshall, Sam Manekshaw.
Many are of the opinion that Vicky Kaushal should get National Award for his performance in the movie and Sam Manekshaw’s daughter Maya also appreciated the actor and revealed that she has watched the movie twice and both the times, she cried while watching the same scene.
Maya stated, “They have made the film to make the country proud of whatever it was. But, the time that I tear up, every time, I’ve seen the film twice now and I teared up both times, is the last two seconds of the film when you turn to the audience and you’re smiling. That just kills me every time.”
Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh have also played important roles in the movie which pays tribute to Sam Manekshaw and the sacrifices that he made for the country.
