Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki is one of the most awaited movies of the year and it is going to hit the theatres tomorrow (21 Dec 2023). There is absolutely no doubt that the movie is all set to get a grand opening if we go by the advance bookings that have been done by fans.
Just before the release of Dunki, the makers organized a special screening for the members of the Censor Board at Voc Cinemas, Dubai and as per the reports, the movie got a standing ovation at the special screening.
Dunki is said to be based on “Donkey Flights” which is a technique of illegal immigration used mainly in the USA, UK and Canada.
Dunki has been directed by Rajkumar Hirani and it has been bankrolled by Red Chillies Entertainment. The film also stars Boman Irani, Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, Satish Shah, Vikram Kochhar, Anil Grover and others. Though Dunki is going to clash with Prabhas starrer Salaar which is releasing on 22 December 2023 and Hollywood movie Aquaman and The Lost Kingdom, trade experts feel that Dunki is going to do great business just like the last two releases of SRK – Pathaan and Jawan.
