A part of Gokulpuri metro station in Delhi collapsed this morning, hurting at least four people. Firefighters and police were quickly on the scene, and some vehicles got stuck under the fallen debris.
According to Deputy Commissioner of Police Joy Tirkey, the accident happened around 10 am. Firefighters received a call at 11:10 am and immediately sent six fire trucks to help.
The collapsed part was from a section of the metro station where trains run. Fortunately, two people were rescued and taken to GTB Hospital before the firefighters arrived. Others were helped out later.
Sadly, some bikes were damaged, and a piece of the structure is still hanging precariously. Authorities are working to make sure everything is safe.
