The Indian cricketer Virat Kohli didn’t play the first two test matches of the 5-match series against England citing personal reasons and he got the support of many of his colleagues and former cricketers as everyone believes that family comes first.
There are speculations that Virat Kohli’s wife Anushka Sharma is going to give birth to their second child and this is why the former Indian skipper is missing from the cricketing action but neither Virat nor Anushka or any of their family members has given any confirmation regarding this.
Virat Kohli shares a great bond with the former South African legendary cricketer AB de Villiers and in one of his YouTube videos, ABD stated that Virat is doing fine and he also accepted that Virat’s second kid is on the way.
However, now in an interview, the former Proteas cricketer retracted from his statement and said that he made a big mistake by sharing false information. He said, “Absolutely family comes first, it’s a priority, as I said on my YouTube show. Also, I made a terrible mistake at the same time and yeah, sharing false information which was not true at all. No one knows what’s happening.”
He added, “That’s all I can do is wish him well and I think the whole world that follows Virat and that enjoys his cricket, must just wish him well, and whatever the reason is for this break. Really hope that he comes back stronger, better, healthier, and fresh.”
