The pre-wedding festivities of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant took place in Jamnagar and it was so grand that many people felt that they both are getting married in Jamnagar which is not the case.
Anant Ambani enjoyed the festivities a lot but he also made many people cry with his emotional speech in which he talked about his health issues and his struggles related to them. Anant Ambani started his speech by thanking his mother Nita Ambani as he said, “I have faced many health crises since childhood but my father and mother have never let me feel it.”
Anant’s father Mukesh Ambani was in tears during the speech as he heard his son talking about the health problems faced by him.
Anant suffered from chronic asthma which needed extensive steroid treatment and it resulted in obesity. What made the matters worse was the fact that obesity posed additional challenges for Anant Ambani.
Though Anant Ambani lost 108 kgs in just 18 months, maintaining the same healthy lifestyle was not easy as he had to deal with his chronic asthma. The steroids may help him in controlling asthma but they intervened in his body’s metabolism which resulted in increased appetite and ultimately it led to weight gain.
Hopefully he will get better health-wise.
