The holy month of Ramadan is celebrated around the world by fasting and other ways of getting close to the One Almighty God. But, people also shop for clothes to look their best during the festival of Eid at the end of the holy month.
Sensing the needs of their customers, renowned fashion houses from throughout the world and the Gulf have unveiled their latest Ramadan collections. Vibrant colors, sustainable techniques, and symbolic motifs have all been included by designers in their works.

Honayda
The much-awaited Ramadan 2024 capsule collection by the Saudi designer, dubbed “Suhail,” is inspired by the Suhail star, also known as Canopus, which stands for transformation and fresh starts. The second-brightest star in the night sky, Canopus, is deeply significant to Arab culture. In addition to being largely used for navigation, people also strongly associate it with spirituality.
The collection by Honayda combines striking monochrome aesthetics with delicate delicacy. According to a news release, each design embodies the brand’s defining characteristics and is “infused with the vibrant symbolism of red, evoking strength, passion, and confidence.”
Leem
According to a press release, the Saudi fashion house’s Ramadan collection for this year “stands out with its mix of classic styles and modern detailing” and features “elegant silhouettes, vibrant color schemes, and sophisticated material choices.”
Abayas, kaftans, and coord sets are all part of the capsule collection, which also includes geometric designs, tassel details, embroidered necklines, and prints with Najdi patterns.
The latest collection can be found at Leem’s stores in Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia in addition to Leem.com, a global e-commerce platform, and Selfridges, Bloomingdale’s, and Harvey Nichols.
Dima Ayad
“A captivating blend of vibrant colors and fabric palettes, using contrasting tones with graceful sheen, sequins and metallic accents,” is what the Lebanese designer based in Dubai has to offer in her Ramadan 2024 collection. It uses two different materials and has 19 different ensembles, including dresses, kaftans, kimonos, and two-piece sets.
The first print is called Brushstroke and it “resembles paint strokes… combining rich blues, purples, and greens with creamy hues.” The other fabric has a variety of shapes and colors, such as cream, navy blue, green, burgundy, and black, with overtones of gold, and is “adorned with stars, moons, and Islamic architecture.”
Bambah
This Ramadan, the label of Egyptian designer Maha Abdul Rasheed is showcasing a new line that is diversified. In addition to the traditional abayas and kaftans, her collection features modest plisse sets in mint green and sky blue colors.
Abdul Rasheed’s collection appeals to a wide range of tastes. With a variety of materials available, including breath-able cottons and opulent silks, she hopes to satisfy every taste. The color scheme is likewise adaptable, with a variety of gentle pastels—purple, pink, blue, beige, and white—pitched against vibrant colors like orange, green, and maroon.
CH Carolina Herrera
The Australian-Lebanese model Jessica Kahawaty is the face of the New York-based brand’s Ramadan campaign, which includes a carefully chosen selection of modest clothing that combines eye-catching patterns and vivid colors.
Kahwaty is seen wearing a variety of ensembles, such as a striking long-sleeved red chiffon dress that reaches the floor and is adorned with a large statement bow around the neck; a black dress with a white collar that is accentuated with a shimmering CH logo on the chest; a colorful printed jumpsuit that is knotted at the waist with an oversized yellow bow belt; a pink satin set; a vibrant yellow ensemble; and a purple linen set.
A number of CH handbags that were inspired by the company’s 35th anniversary bracelet are also included in the edit. This “Insignia” line includes a variety of clutches, buckets, and satchels with eye-catching gold-plated clasps shaped like the brand’s initials.
Stella McCartney
In honor of Ramadan, the British fashion designer debuted her “Rose Capsule” collection.This succinct collection, which includes ready-to-wear items and vegan accessories influenced by the brand’s silhouettes, is inspired by the beauty of the rose and its “significance in Islam as a symbol of the splendor of creation, love, and the natural beauty that surrounds us,” according to a press release.
Bright pink and black, light-weight textiles that have been “upcycled from past collections to minimize environmental impacts” are featured.
The series, which features lead-free crystal panels and monogrammed with S-Wave symbols, emanates “a conscious, celebratory attitude.” The collection has accessories made without using cruelty, such as “crystalline takes on the iconic Falabella Mini and Tiny totes, alongside phone holders and wallets on chains,” which are all produced by Italian artisans using vegan materials. Other items in the range include pajamas, cape dresses, and kaftans.
Coach
This Ramadan collection from the US luxury fashion label goes beyond the typical abaya and kaftan, highlighting the Tabby and Willow shoulder bags from the brand. The newest shoe models from the brand are also featured in this collection.
The bags come in a variety of colors, such as beige, khaki, denim blue, jet black, pastel yellow, and cream white.
