The women’s team of Royal Challengers Bangalore has made their fans proud by winning the trophy in the second season of WPL, something which the men’s team has failed to do in the last 16 seasons.

While there is happiness all around the RCB camp, the comparisons between women’s team and men’s team are bound to take place and many people are trolling Indian cricketer Virat Kohli who has been associated with the team since inaugural edition of 2008 and has also served as the skipper of the team but hasn’t been able to make them win their first IPL title.

Smriti Mandhana led the RCB women’s team in a superb manner and scripted history by winning their first WPL trophy and recently when she was asked about comparisons with Virat Kohli, she gave a wonderful answer as she said, “The title is one thing, but what he (Kohli) has achieved for India is remarkable. So, I don’t think that comparison is right in terms of where my career is and what he has already achieved.”

Smriti also told why she doesn’t like the comparison, “The reason why I do not like the comparison is that what he has achieved is great; he has been an inspirational person. A title does not define a lot of things; we all respect him and I feel like the respect has to be right up there for Virat. So, there is nothing different from me as well.”

Here is the video of the interaction:

That was really a gem of an answer by Smriti Mandhana.
