The T20 World Cup is going to take place in June in West Indies and USA and the selectors will need to choose the best players for the Indian squad. While some players are certain to play the WC, the selectors are keeping an eye on the IPL performances of few players to see whether they should be selected or not.

Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson, Ishan Kishan, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, etc. are competing with each other for the position of wicketkeeper-batter and it won’t be easy for the selectors to choose any one of them.

Rishabh Pant is currently leading DC in the IPL 2024 and the team is going through a lean phase as it was sitting at the bottom of the points table until DC defeated LSG in the match which was played yesterday. Now DC is at the 9th position and Rishabh Pant played an important role as he scored 41 runs and helped his team chase the target of 168 runs.

With this innings, Rishabh Pant completed his 3000 runs in the IPL and he has also become the third youngest player to do so at the age of 26 years and 191 days and while doing so, he surpassed Sanju Samson who achieved this feat at the age of 26 years and 390 days. A couple of days back, Shubman Gill became the youngest cricketer to complete 3000 runs at the age of 24 years and 215 days.

What do you think, which wicketkeeper-batter will get the chance to play for India in the WC 2024?
