TMKOC’s Gogi Reveals His Conversation With Gurucharan Singh Amid Depression Rumours

The Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah actor Gurucharan Singh who used to play Roshan Singh Sodhi has been missing for more than a week now and though the police is investigating the case, it hasn’t been able to find the actor so far.

While there are some who stated that Gurucharan was not keeping well and he was in a state of depression before he went missing, Gogi aka Samay Shah, the actor who played the role of Gurucharan’s son in TMKOC has spoken otherwise.

During an interview, Samay Shah stated, “I spoke with him 4 to 5 months back over the phone. The conversation went on for an hour or more and he kept motivating me, we spoke about running with dreams. I was missing him a lot, especially as we were not working together anymore and we were reminiscing.”

As far as the matter of Gurucharan being in depression is concerned, this is what Shah has to say, “He was happy when we spoke. I still cannot believe that people are saying he was depressed. He is not that kind of a person, but then you cannot predict how human consciousness works sometimes. Whenever we spoke, he was very kind and sweet, he was keeping alright, and he would continuously check on me. I don’t think he was in depression. However, we never had the kind of conversations he would have with his parents or friends. I was like a son to him.”

In the CCTV footages, Gurucharan Singh was seen roaming on the streets of Delhi with a bag on his back and he also withdrew Rs. 7K from ATM before he went missing.

Let’s hope the actor is safe and sound and he comes back soon.
