Priyanka Chopra’s “WOMB” Trailer Sparks Hope for Gender Equality in India!

‘Women of My Billion,’ a new documentary directed by Priyanka Chopra Jonas, has a trailer available on Prime Video. The film chronicles the amazing trek of UN SDG Changemaker Srishti Bakshi, who set out on a foot pilgrimage that would transform her life.

Bakshi walked 3,800 km for 240 days, from Kashmir in the north to Kanyakumari in the south of India. Her goal is to get to know and hear from regular ladies all throughout the nation. The teaser gives viewers an insight into the challenges, aspirations, and steadfast determination of these women as they battle for equality and triumph against disaster.

Produced by Awedacious Originals (Apoorva Bakshi and Monisha Thyagarajan) in collaboration with Purple Pebble Pictures (Priyanka Chopra Jonas). “Women of my Billion” chronicles Srishti Bakshi’s 3,800-kilometer, 240-day walking pilgrimage from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in an effort to discover and disseminate tales of women who have overcome great obstacles to achieve their goals, aspirations, and victories.

“Women of My Billion,” which is helmed by Ajitesh Sharma, looks to be a potent and poignant depiction of the struggles Indian women endure. On May 3, 2024, the documentary will debut on Prime Video.
