Since being chosen to star in Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor has been making headlines. Given that Ranbir will also be appearing in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, this year looks to be lucky for him. There were rumors that Nitesh Tiwari’s masterpiece would interfere with the filming of SLB’s Love and War, even though the Ramayana filming had already started. It is unlikely, nevertheless, that the filming of Ramayana will affect Love and War’s timeline. Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt will be in the film, which is set to begin filming in November of this year.
“Ranbir will continue shooting for Ramayana and begin the prep for Love and War in the second half of August or early September simultaneously,” a source quoted by News18 stated. Ranbir will immerse himself in script reading sessions and conversations with Bhansali prior to the commencement of filming YRF’s forthcoming spy thriller alongside Sharvari Wagh, while Alia will be busy shooting the film. In fact, Bhansali will start Love and War with him because he might wrap up filming the first installment of the Ramayana trilogy by November.
The insider went on, “Love and War will start filming in Mumbai, although a set has not yet been built for the same. There will be several intricate song scenes in the movie, and Bhansali is now in communication with his production design team about these. As for Vicky, when he will join the filming still remains unclear.”
In order to avoid any image leaks, Namit Malhotra and the other producers of Ramayana have wisely chosen to fully enclose the sets and carry out all of the filming indoors. “The producers wanted no teasers of the movie to surface before a formal reveal, but in spite of their best efforts—including enforcing a no-phone rule on set photojournalists were still able to capture shots of Ranbir and Sai’s scenes. To prevent more leaks, curtains have been drawn everywhere and security has been increased, the insider said.
Pictures from the Ramayana set went popular on the internet a few weeks ago. Ranbir and Sai Pallavi were seen in the photos wearing traditional garb. The three main characters in Nitesh Tiwari’s film are Yash, Sai Pallavi, and Ranbir Kapoor.
