The beautiful actress Sharmin Segal is getting trolled by many online users because of her acting performance in the web series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar which has been created by Sharmin’s uncle Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Many online users are of the opinion that she got the role because of nepotism and she has given only one expression in the whole series. Now, Sharmin’s co-star Jason Shah has reacted to this matter and in his opinion, Sharmin’s acting was one-tone and she could have shown more emotions in some places.
Talking about the backlash, he said “I thought, personally, there should have been a higher escalation of emotion in different places.”
He further said, “I remember Sanjay also saying, ‘Stop acting from your head, act from your heart’. But I don’t know, maybe that’s what they wanted from her. Maybe that was the one tone that they were looking for from this character. But that’s the director’s call. She was alright. She was doing her thing. We worked pretty easily together. We never had any difficulty as such.”
