Juhi Chawla, an actor and close friend of Shah Rukh Khan, exclusively told News18 that the actor is feeling much better after being brought to a hospital in Ahmedabad due to heat stroke. Following his heat stroke during Tuesday’s IPL 2024 match between the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Shah Rukh was transported to the KD hospital. Along with his manager Pooja Dadlani and his children Suhana and AbRam, SRK attended the match.
This evening, Juhi Chawla and her spouse Jay Mehta who also happens to be a co-owner of the IPL team KKR alongside SRK, were photographed driving away from KD Hospital in their blue vehicle. They avoided interacting with the photographers and reporters that were set up outside the hospital.
Juhi gave us a unique update on Shah Rukh’s condition. Shah Rukh wasn’t feeling well the night before, but after receiving care, he felt much better this evening. She informed us that, “God willing,” he will soon be up and seeing the squad play in the finals this weekend from the stands.
Shortly after rumors of SRK’s hospitalization circulated online, Gauri Khan, his wife, was also spotted coming at KD Hospital. Suhana Khan, the daughter, was photographed at the private airport while she was returning in Mumbai with her close friends Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, and Navya Nanda.
Juhi and Shah Rukh have been pals since the early nineties. Together, the pair has collaborated on a number of films, including Phir Bhi Dil Hai Hindustani, Yes Boss, Darr, and Duplicate.
After defeating SRH by eight wickets on Tuesday, KKR advanced to the IPL 2024 finals. Juhi reflected on the significant victory and remarked, “It’s such a fantastic feeling! We are incredibly joyful, ecstatic, proud, and appreciative of the team. They advanced to the finals after playing admirably and consistently throughout the competition. We look forward to this thrilling moment every year, and it’s finally here—the coveted trophy is only one game away. With the greatest cricket players in the world participating, the IPL is an extremely difficult competition. Their strength, endurance, and abilities are put to the ultimate test.
Juhi finished by saying that everyone is hoping, praying, and excited that, ten years from now, KKR would return with the trophy to Kolkata and make all KKR supporters proud of their team.
