Indians are eagerly waiting for Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Citadel: Honey Bunny which is slated to release on 7 November 2024 on a digital platform.
This is the first time that Varun and Samantha are working together and today (1 Aug), the teaser release event took place in Mumbai in which the actors talked about their chemistry in the action-packed series.
While talking about an action sequence which went on for 12 minutes, Samantha stated, “It was a partnership, like when we’d do action, it really felt like a dance. It felt like, you know, we discussed this, action felt like romantic song because there was just so much sync. I’ve never had so much sync because well Raj and DK being Raj and DK, they love long long shots, they don’t say cut…”
Varun Dhawan also added, “I think we have an 11 or 12-minute-long one-take action sequence.”
Samantha continued, “It’s the both of us with a cameraman and everyone has to be in absolute sync. So I’ve never felt that kind of chemistry with anyone and I believe it shows because that action sequence is truly special, if I should say so myself, but just making it was absolutely beautiful.”
