It’s okay. It’s an action, there’s reaction. But they only show my reaction. They don’t show action. They chop the clips and they show my reactions.”

The controversy began during a task on Khatron Ke Khiladi 14, where Asim, along with Aashish Mehrotra and Niyati Fatnani, had to collect flags from a seesaw. The challenge was crucial, as only the top two contestants would be safe from elimination. Aashish and Niyati successfully completed the task, but Asim failed, which led to criticism from the other contestants. Asim, however, claimed that the task was impossible and challenged the team to perform it in front of him without taking any payment if they succeeded. Rohit Shetty then showed a rehearsal video proving that the task had been tested and completed safely by the team before the contestants attempted it.
After Asim’s departure, Rohit Shetty expressed his disappointment but wished Asim well, saying, “I wish him all the luck but now he can’t continue in this show. He has a point of view, no doubt about it and I respect that. I wish him all the luck. He is a young kid and may god bless him with success.”
