Sharvari Reveals What Aamir Khan Said To Her After Watching Her In Junaid Khan’s Maharaj

Sharvari has had a remarkable year, making waves in the film industry with several successful projects. Her film Munjya, a horror-comedy, became a surprise hit, grossing over ₹100 crore at the domestic box office. In Vedaa, Sharvari earned widespread critical acclaim for her portrayal of a Dalit woman, showcasing her versatility. Another major milestone was Maharaj, where her on-screen chemistry with Junaid Khan in the song Haan Ke Haan increased her popularity on social media. Additionally, her dance number Taras from Munjya earned her the title of a “national crush,” thanks to her striking transformation in the film.

Despite this “incredible” success streak, Sharvari is determined to stay grounded. In a recent interview, she expressed how her long and challenging journey has kept her humble. “I’ve waited for this moment for a really, really long time. I don’t think this success will lead me to get ahead of myself,” she said. She recalled her years of auditions, rejections, and missed opportunities, emphasizing that these experiences remind her to stay grounded. “My journey keeps me grounded and reminds me of the difficult days I’ve had, which is why I keep my feet on the ground very strongly.”

Sharvari also spoke about how the recent appreciation from audiences is a huge validation for her work. “Now with the audience reaction I’m receiving, I think it’s a huge validation for an actor like me. It makes me feel that I must be doing something right,” she added.

Earlier, Sharvari revealed that she had auditioned for Aamir Khan’s Thugs of Hindostan but didn’t get the role. However, her connection with the Khan family continued as she co-starred with Aamir’s son Junaid Khan in Maharaj. She recalled the moment Aamir Khan praised her performance in the film, saying, “Aamir sir met me even before the screening and told me, ‘You’re very good in the film. You did a really good job.’” For Sharvari, this compliment from Aamir was a moment of assurance. “It gave me a lot of assurance ki kuch achcha kiya hoga (that I must have done something right),” she said, remembering her surprise and delight.

Sharvari’s journey from facing challenges to experiencing a breakthrough year is a testament to her resilience and talent. With her grounded outlook and growing recognition, she is poised to make an even bigger impact in Bollywood.
