Salman Khan’s ex-girlfriend, Somy Ali, has made new claims regarding the actor amid the ongoing death threats he is receiving from Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang. In her statement, Somy discussed the infamous blackbuck hunting case, revealing that she had spoken to Salman about the incident when it occurred. According to Somy, Salman was unaware of the religious significance of blackbucks to the Bishnoi community at the time of the incident. She also mentioned that she was supposed to join him on the hunting trip but did not go because Salman thought she scared away the prey

Somy Ali defended Salman, stating, “Why should he apologize for something he didn’t know about?” She argued that the incident was unintentional, and apologizing under such circumstances would not make sense. Addressing Salman’s perceived arrogance, she dismissed these claims, saying, “It’s not about ego. People say he’s arrogant, but I have nothing to do with him or his family today. I just don’t want anyone murdered, whether in Bollywood or Hollywood. Violence is never the answer.”

Somy shared insights into her conversations with Salman regarding the blackbuck case. She reiterated that Salman was unaware of the importance of blackbucks to the Bishnoi community. “He told me he had no idea. It’s absurd,” she said. Recalling their time together during outdoor shoots, Somy stated that she had been hunting with Salman before but didn’t participate in the 1998 hunt, during which the blackbuck incident occurred.

Somy also expressed her desire to speak with Lawrence Bishnoi in the future to understand his perspective. She mentioned her plans to visit India in November and hopes to find an opportunity to interview him. Despite her concern for Salman and his family’s safety, Somy made it clear that she has no personal ties to him anymore. “I have nothing to do with him. I don’t want to reunite, don’t want his money, and I’m not seeking publicity from him,” she emphasized. The last time she spoke to Salman was in 2012.

These statements came just days after Salman Khan received another death threat. On Friday, two threatening messages were sent to the Mumbai Traffic Police’s WhatsApp number, demanding Rs 5 crore from Salman. The messages warned that failure to pay would lead to a fate worse than that of NCP leader Baba Siddique, who was recently murdered. Salman, who has been dealing with such threats for some time, already has tight security in place. However, following these recent threats, his security has been further increased.
