Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu starrer Citadel: Honey Bunny is one of the highly anticipated web series of the year and it is also set to release on 7 November on OTT.
Amidst all the hype for the web series, an old video of Varun Dhawan’s father, David Dhawan who is a famous director has resurfaced and has gone viral.
In this video, David Dhawan is having a chat with actor Arbaaz Khan and when the latter asked the former whether OTT has reduced the charm of cinema and has also impacted the theatrical releases, the director responded in negative and said that anyone can do OTT and challenged the actors that they want to know their worth then they should come to theatres.
David Dhawan added that OTT gives safety and also saves the movies from scrutiny but real appreciation is what actors get from the audiences of theatres.
