No Entry, one of the most memorable films of Fardeen Khan, continues to be loved by audiences even nearly two decades after its release. The 2005 blockbuster, which also starred Anil Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, Lara Dutta and Celina Jaitly, was the highest-grossing film of its year. However, not everyone was thrilled with its storyline, which revolved around extramarital affairs.
In a recent interview, Fardeen Khan shared an amusing anecdote about a fan who disapproved of the film’s adult-themed narrative. Recalling the encounter, Fardeen revealed that the fan approached him at an airport, accompanied by her husband and teenage children.
The woman expressed her admiration for Fardeen but made a special request. Fardeen recounted her words:“She told me, ‘Fardeen, main aapki bohot badi fan hu, lekin agar aapne aisi gandi picture No Entry ki na, itni adult picture, main aapki fan nahi rahungi.’ (I’m a big fan of yours, but if you do a vulgar film like No Entry again, I won’t remain your fan).”Fardeen explained that the woman likely took issue with the film’s theme of adultery and cheating. While the film’s comedic tone made it a hit, the subject matter didn’t resonate with everyone.
