Pushpa 2 Screening Stopped In A Mumbai Theatre After Fans Complaint Of Sickness & Vomiting

The much-anticipated release of Pushpa 2: The Rule has been marred by chaotic incidents at theatres in Mumbai and Hyderabad, leaving fans and authorities shocked.

At Mumbai’s iconic Gaiety-Galaxy theatre, the 10 pm screening on December 5 was abruptly halted for 20 minutes after an unidentified substance was sprayed in the air. Several fans reportedly experienced coughing fits, and a few complained of vomiting, forcing the screening to be paused.

Videos circulating on social media show audience members covering their faces with clothing to protect themselves from the unknown substance. The police were called to the venue, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause and ensure audience safety.

Just a day earlier, another tragedy unfolded at Hyderabad’s Sandhya Theatre during a promotional event for Pushpa 2. Allu Arjun, accompanied by music director Devi Sri Prasad, attended the event, attracting massive crowds. In the chaos, the theatre’s main gate collapsed, causing a stampede.

·         Fatalities and Injuries: A 35-year-old woman lost her life in the incident, and her 9-year-old son sustained severe injuries.

·         Legal Action: Actor Allu Arjun has reportedly been booked in connection with the incident as part of a broader investigation.

The unfortunate incidents highlight the challenges posed by large-scale fan gatherings at such events. While the excitement surrounding Pushpa 2 underscores the immense popularity of Allu Arjun, ensuring crowd safety at theatres and promotional events has become a critical concern.
