Junaid Khan, son of Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has said he is very different from his father. In a recent interview, Junaid shared that he doesn’t feel burdened by comparisons with Aa
d that their physical differences make it unlikely they would play similar characters, adding, “It hasn’t happened to me so far. Papa and I are physically very different, so we’d never play similar kinds of characters. It doesn’t bother me, and I haven’t experienced it yet.”
Junaid Khan made his acting debut earlier this year in the film Maharaj, directed by Siddharth P Malhotra and produced by Aditya Chopra.
The movie featured Junaid as Karsandas Mulji, a real-life 19th-century social reformer. The story revolves around an 1862 libel case involving Mulji and a Vaishnavite religious leader. However, the film faced some legal trouble when members of the religious sect filed a petition in the Gujarat High Court against its release.
