“I Was Stabbed Repeatedly”, Saif Ali Khan Gives Full Account Of Incident In Police Statement

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recently faced a horrifying incident when he was attacked at his Bandra residence. According to sources from the Mumbai Police, the actor’s statement was recorded late on Thursday night, where he provided detailed accounts of the events leading to the attack.

The incident occurred in the early hours of January 16. Saif heard his younger son Jeh crying and rushed downstairs from his room on the 12th floor to the 11th floor, where Jeh stays with his caretaker. Upon reaching Jeh’s room, Saif discovered a stranger holding a knife and arguing loudly with the caretaker. Recognizing the danger, the actor tried to intervene and grab the attacker.

Saif recounted to the police that while attempting to subdue the assailant, he was stabbed multiple times on his back, neck, and hands, causing him to lose his grip. During the commotion, the caretaker managed to leave the room with Jeh for safety. Despite his injuries, Saif managed to overpower the attacker and lock him inside the room.
The actor was later rushed to the hospital, while his family, including his wife Kareena Kapoor and their children, were deeply shaken by the ordeal. The attacker, identified as Shariful Islam Shehzad Mohammad Rohilla Amin Fakir, a Bangladeshi national staying illegally in India, was arrested shortly after the incident.
Following Saif’s discharge from the hospital, the Mumbai Police enhanced security at his residence. Two constables have been stationed outside his Bandra home in rotating shifts, and additional measures such as CCTV cameras and window grills have been implemented. The accused, currently in police custody, is set to appear in court for an extension of his remand.
