Bipasha Basu & John Abraham’s Song ‘Billo Rani’ May Be A Hit Now But It Was Difficult To….

Bipasha Basu & John Abraham once shared a deep bond, both on and off the screen. Their chemistry was evident in films like Jism, Goal, and Madhoshi, with the song Billo Rani from Goal becoming one of their most iconic moments together.

Recently, filmmaker Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri took to social media to reminisce about the turbulent yet memorable journey of shooting the song.

In his post, Vivek shared that Billo Rani almost didn’t make it into the film. The producers were hesitant, lyricist Javed Akhtar was skeptical about the hook line, and composer Pritam was unsure about incorporating a qawwali style. Adding to the challenges, Bipasha and John had broken up just days before the shoot, creating tension on set. However, the late choreographer Saroj Khan had unwavering faith in the song’s potential. “She said this will become the biggest hit, and it did. Big salute to Pritam, Javed Saab, and Saroj Ji,” Vivek wrote.

Bipasha Basu & John Abraham nine-year relationship reportedly began around the time they filmed Jism in 2003. Their closeness led many to believe they would eventually marry, but in 2011, they parted ways. While the exact reasons remain undisclosed, Bipasha later called the breakup “definitely not amicable,” while John described it as “very amicable” with “nothing ugly about it.” Despite the differing narratives, their past remains a significant chapter in Bollywood’s history.
