Actress Rashami Desai, a well-known face in Indian television for over two decades, has been exploring regional cinema in recent years. She was last seen in the Gujarati film Mom Tane Nahi Samjay. In a recent conversation on Bharti Singh’s podcast, Rashami opened up about the difficult phases in her life and reflected on her working relationship with the late Sidharth Shukla during Dil Se Dil Tak.
Speaking about their time together on the show, Rashami Desai admitted that her bond with Sidharth Shukla had been complicated. She revealed that their differences were so strong that they didn’t speak to each other for nearly nine months while working on the show. However, she emphasized that despite their personal issues, both remained professional on set. Their history made their clashes on Bigg Boss 13 even more intense, as audiences witnessed their frequent arguments.
Rashami, however, also shared a more emotional side to their equation. She recalled that despite their past conflicts, Sidharth was someone with a good heart and deep understanding. During Bigg Boss 13, he supported her in ways that not everyone noticed. She specifically mentioned a moment during the family week when he offered her water, acknowledging the struggles she was going through at the time. She also revealed that her niece adored Sidharth and would always seek him out on set, something Rashami never discouraged despite their differences.
Looking back, Rashami said that though they had professional and personal disagreements, she never saw Sidharth as a bad person. “Now that he isn’t around, it doesn’t make sense to discuss those differences. I respect what we had, and I acknowledge that phase in my life,” she said.
Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai were both contestants on Bigg Boss 13, where their dynamic became one of the most talked-about aspects of the season. While they may not have always seen eye to eye, Rashami’s words reflect a deep sense of respect for the late actor and their shared journey.
