Urvashi Rautela Missing From Daaku Maharaaj OTT Poster, Fans React

After its impressive run at the box office, Daaku Maharaaj, starring Nandamuri Balakrishna, is gearing up for its OTT debut on Netflix. However, what has caught everyone’s attention isn’t just the film’s release date—it’s Urvashi Rautela’s noticeable absence from the announcement poster.

On Sunday, Netflix unveiled the promotional poster on Instagram, confirming that Daaku Maharaaj would be available for streaming from February 21. The poster prominently featured Nandamuri Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath. However, Urvashi Rautela was nowhere to be seen, despite playing a role in the film. The caption accompanying the post read, “We would just like to say pranaam maharaj. Watch Daaku Maharaaj, out on 21 Feb on Netflix!”

Fans quickly took to social media to point out Urvashi’s omission, with many leaving sarcastic and humorous comments. One user wrote, “India’s first woman to be removed from the poster of a 105+ crore film.” Another commented, “The best promoter of the movie isn’t even in the poster.” Some even linked the situation to her past promotional gimmicks, with a comment reading, “Same Daaku Maharaj associated with that diamond-studded Rolex?”

Urvashi Rautela has been making headlines ever since the film’s theatrical release, primarily due to her unusual promotional tactics. Following the recent attack on Saif Ali Khan, she faced backlash for an interview with ANI, where she flaunted a diamond Rolex gifted by her mother. Many felt her comments were tone-deaf, given the serious nature of the incident. Addressing the attack on Saif, she had stated, “It is very unfortunate. Now Daaku Maharaaj has crossed Rs 105 crore at the box office, and my mother gifted me this diamond-studded Rolex, while my father gifted me this mini watch on my finger, but we don’t feel confident wearing it outside. There is insecurity that anybody can attack us. Whatever happened was very unfortunate.”

Her statement didn’t sit well with many, including her co-star Pragya Jaiswal, who criticized Urvashi’s approach, calling it ‘reckless.’ With the film’s OTT release around the corner, fans are left wondering whether Urvashi’s absence from the poster was intentional or just a coincidence.
