Bigg Boss 18: Edin Rose’s Chilling Encounter With A Drunk Stalker Leaves Her Shaken

Bigg Boss 18 star Edin Rose recently opened up about a terrifying experience she faced in Mumbai on Monday evening. While out with a friend, she found herself being followed by a drunk man in a luxury car. Despite her efforts to deter him, even recording his actions, the man refused to stop, making the ordeal all the more distressing.

In an Instagram post shared late that night, Edin recounted the unsettling incident. Expressing her shock, she stated that she had never felt unsafe in Mumbai before, regardless of the hour or how she was dressed. Addressing potential critics, she clarified that she was wearing a full tracksuit and a mask, leaving only her fingers and eyes visible. “I have been staying in Mumbai since 2020, and never have I felt unsafe here at any time of the night. But before the clothing police come at me, let me make it clear—I was covered from head to toe,” she wrote.

Detailing the distressing sequence of events, Edin described how she and her female friend were traveling by rickshaw from Juhu to Bandra when a man in a Jaguar began following them. His erratic driving, swerving right and left, made it clear that he was intoxicated. “He followed us for 20 minutes, completely drunk, and mirroring our route. It wasn’t a case of recognition; it was pure harassment,” she shared.

The situation escalated when Edin Rose and her friend recorded the man’s face and number plate, yet he showed no signs of stopping. “This man not only put everyone’s safety at risk with his drunk driving but also ensured we knew he wouldn’t back off. Even when being recorded, he remained persistent. What was his plan? Follow me all the way home or to Dubai?” she sarcastically remarked.

Taking a jab at the controversial comedy show India’s Got Latent, currently under fire, Edin pointed out the deeper issue at hand. “Instead of debating over ‘latent’ talent, let’s focus on women’s safety. Here’s a man, clearly wealthy, driving a Jaguar, yet he had the audacity to act like a relentless creep, even while knowing he was on camera.”

Before concluding, she issued a strong message to society. “It doesn’t matter if someone rides a cycle or drives a Jaguar—raise your sons right, so they are worthy of living in a civilized society.”

Edin’s account sheds light on the everyday threats women face, even in cities that are perceived as safe. Her ordeal is a stark reminder that regardless of social status, personal responsibility and respect for others remain paramount.
