Once, Sheeba Akashdeep shared an unbreakable bond with her Suryavanshi co-star Amrita Singh and actor Saif Ali Khan. They were not just friends but also neighbors, living in the same bungalow complex and spending a great deal of time together. However, their close relationship took a devastating turn, one that led to an irreversible fallout.
In a recent interview, Sheeba finally revealed the painful reason behind their estrangement. She recalled a tragic incident when Saif Ali Khan’s dog fatally attacked her beloved pet. The loss left her devastated, and despite Saif’s attempts to make amends, she was unable to forgive him.
Recalling the heartbreaking event, Sheeba shared, “We were friends, neighbors, living in the same bungalow complex. Then, one day, his dog accidentally killed my dog.” The pain was unbearable, and from that day forward, she stopped speaking to Saif. “My heart was shattered, and at that time, emotions were very volatile. Saif later asked my husband if I would ever forgive him, but I just couldn’t.”
Sheeba was so deeply affected by the incident that she decided to leave her home. “My heart was broken beyond repair. I couldn’t live there anymore. That very night, I sold my house and walked away from the complex. He was my favorite dog, and I couldn’t bear to stay in that place any longer. That’s how we lost touch.”
On the professional front, Sheeba Akashdeep recently appeared in Jigra, starring alongside Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina. The film, which premiered in theaters on October 10, 2024, is now available for streaming on Netflix.
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan recently made headlines after suffering a terrifying attack in his own home. An intruder broke into his house, stabbing him six times. He was rushed to the hospital and underwent multiple surgeries. The shocking incident left fans worried, but he is currently on the road to recovery.
While life has moved on for both Sheeba and Saif, the painful chapter of their past remains a reminder of how friendships, no matter how strong, can be shattered by unexpected tragedies.
