Urvashi Rautela Gets Included In Daaku Maharaj’s OTT Poster, Internet Says, “Fastest Correction”

Nandamuri Balakrishna’s blockbuster film Daaku Maharaaj is all set to make its grand debut on OTT after a stellar box-office run. The makers recently shared the news on social media, confirming that the film will stream on Netflix from February 21. However, what was meant to be an exciting announcement quickly took an amusing turn when netizens noticed a glaring omission—Urvashi Rautela was nowhere to be seen on the official poster.

While the poster prominently featured Balakrishna, Bobby Deol, Pragya Jaiswal, and Shraddha Srinath, Urvashi’s absence did not go unnoticed. Social media erupted with hilarious reactions, with fans questioning how the actress was completely left out despite being part of the film. What followed was a meme fest that left the internet in splits.

Realizing their blunder, Netflix India wasted no time in making amends. In their latest post promoting Daaku Maharaaj, they not only included Urvashi but gave her double the spotlight, featuring her twice in the promotional material. Instead of putting an end to the trolling, this unexpected move fueled even more jokes and laughter across the internet.

The caption on Netflix’s new post read, “Meet the forces behind the fear (eyes and fire emojis). Watch Daaku Maharaaj on Netflix, out 21 February in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi! #DaakuMaharaajOnNetflix.”

Here is the post:

However, netizens continued their playful jabs. One user quipped, “First actress to be on the first slide and only actress to be included TWICE in the post of a 105 crore movie.” Another commented, “The first woman from Daaku Maharaaj finally getting the recognition she deserves.”

Some even dubbed it the ‘fastest correction’ in OTT history, while another joked, “Netflix admin HAD to put Urvashi’s post first after removing her from the movie title poster.” One particularly humorous remark read, “There is only one force behind Daaku Maharaaj aka 105cr, and that is Urvashi.”

The blunder started when Netflix unveiled the official OTT poster on Sunday, featuring the film’s leading cast except for Urvashi. The internet wasted no time in pointing out the odd exclusion, with fans questioning how an actress from a Rs 105 crore film could be overlooked. While the mistake was eventually corrected, it led to a viral moment that turned Netflix’s announcement into an unintended comedy show.

With the OTT release just around the corner, Daaku Maharaaj continues to stay in the spotlight—not just for its gripping storyline, but for an unexpected digital fiasco that will be remembered for a long time.
