“Haven’t Achieved Anything…”, Amit Sadh Talks About His Journey After “Kai Po Che”

Amit Sadh’s journey in the film industry has been one of perseverance, growth, and self-discovery. From his early days as a young actor eager to learn to becoming a performer who has consistently impressed audiences, his career has been a testament to dedication. His Bollywood debut in Kai Po Che! (2013), alongside Sushant Singh Rajput and Rajkummar Rao, marked a turning point, yet while his co-stars went on to shine in lead roles, many still believe Amit has much more to offer.

Reflecting on his career, Amit shared that he has come to terms with his journey and finds peace in his work. He recalled his early struggles, revealing that his primary concern back then was financial stability. “Uss samay toh yahi rehta tha ki main rent de paaunga time par… main kisi ke phase wagerah nahi dekhta tha. I was only looking after myself, and I was in a good phase. I also got hero roles, but those films didn’t work,” he shared in an interview with The Times of India.

Despite the challenges, he acknowledged that Kai Po Che! was a turning point, bringing him recognition and financial stability. “I earned money, and I could survive. As long as I am offered good roles, I will be happy,” he added.

Amit remains driven by the desire to explore more opportunities and refuses to settle for any defined space in the industry. He believes he has yet to achieve his full potential, stating, “I don’t think I have any place somebody can claim. I haven’t achieved anything in life, except for a few serials, films, and web series. I’m grateful for the love people have shown me, but I still have much more to do.”

Following Kai Po Che!, he has built an impressive filmography with projects like Sultan, Akira, Gold, Sarkar 3, Barot House, Super 30, Operation Parindey, Shakuntala Devi, and Sukhee. With an eagerness to take on more challenging roles, Amit Sadh continues to carve his own path in the industry, proving that his journey is far from over.
