Aly Goni has seemingly taken an indirect dig at RJ Mahvash following her recent comments about being “lucky” for Team India. The former Laughter Chefs contestant shared his reaction through his Instagram stories, crediting India’s victory in the Champions Trophy to the team and its coaches, while subtly dismissing Mahvash’s claims without mentioning her name.
“Indian team ki aur coaches ki mehnat, nope. Every Indian girl who was there in the stadium… on social media ‘I am lucky’,” Aly wrote, appearing to mock the notion that an individual’s presence could influence the outcome of the match.
His remarks came in response to RJ Mahvash’s celebratory post after the India vs New Zealand Champions Trophy final in Dubai. Mahvash, who was seen with Yuzvendra Chahal during the match, had taken to Instagram to share her excitement, writing, “Kaha tha na jita ke aungi I am good luck for team India!.”
While Mahvash’s post was made in a lighthearted manner, Aly’s reaction has sparked conversations online, with many interpreting it as a sharp retort to her claim.
