A Social media influencer named Radha has voiced her support for Dhanashree Verma, stating that she should have demanded Rs 40 crore as alimony from Yuzvendra Chahal. According to an entertainment portal, Radha shared her opinion through an Instagram story, where she posted a video defending Dhanashree and addressing the criticism directed at her.
In her video, Radha strongly opposed those engaging in slut-shaming against Dhanashree and emphasized that Chahal, being an adult, was never forced into marriage with the choreographer. She challenged the prevailing narrative, questioning why society finds it acceptable for wealthy men to use their money to attract women, yet criticizes women who use their beauty in financial matters.
“If bhai was so concerned about gold digging why didn’t he use his personality and kind nature to attract a woman? Why did he throw money at all of them? In general why is it acceptable for rich men to throw money to get girls but not for girls to use their beauty to get the so-called money? Personally, I think Rs. 4 crore is too less for all the slut shaming that she has to go through because of so-called fans like you. Just for that it should have been Rs. 40 cr minimum,” Radha remarked.
Radha’s comments have reignited debates about societal double standards and the treatment of women in public life.
