The underwhelming box office performance of Sikandar has stirred up an unexpected storm—not just within film circles, but across social media platforms. At the center of the controversy stands Warda Khan, wife of producer Sajid Nadiadwala, who found herself entangled in a fiery exchange with Salman Khan’s fanbase.

As disappointment grew among fans over the film’s lackluster reception, many turned their anger toward the production team. In an attempt to counter the criticism, Warda took to X (formerly Twitter) to highlight positive reviews and defend the film’s efforts. But her responses only seemed to intensify the backlash, quickly transforming her posts into the epicenter of a digital feud.

Frustrated fans did not hold back. One user directed sharp criticism at the producers, saying, “Have some shame, or would you not stop until you destroy Salman Khan’s career?” Another questioned Warda’s conduct more bluntly, asking, “How can you be so shameless?”

Warda didn’t stay silent. When one troll insulted her by calling her a “J*ahil aurat,” she fired back with a curt and sarcastic, “Get well soon.” Her retort, along with others, rapidly made the rounds online, with screenshots spreading across Reddit and other forums. However, following the virality of the exchange, Warda quietly removed most of her earlier responses from her timeline.

The incident has since sparked divided opinions on Reddit. While a segment of Salman Khan fans condemned Warda’s remarks as “distasteful,” others came to her defense, pointing out that she wasn’t responsible for the creative choices behind Sikandar. One user noted, “She had nothing to do with the movie. It is Salman who chose the script and director. It is on him. But these fans can’t call him out.”

As the dust settles, the debate underscores the passionate—and sometimes volatile—relationship between stars, their collaborators, and their devoted followers in the digital age.
