Gautami Kapoor, actress and wife of Ram Kapoor, has finally spoken out about the viral video in which she was seen mimicking producer Ekta Kapoor. The video, which quickly made rounds on social media, led to speculation about a possible fallout or cold war between the two. However, Gautami has firmly dismissed any such claims, clarifying that there is no rivalry, and that the entire act was done purely in jest.
In an interview, Gautami addressed the controversy surrounding the video, saying, “I have not done this with any kind of vengeance, or any kind of revenge or vested interest. Ye social media ne isko itna hype kar diya hai. Logon ke beech mein ab ye debate chal rahi hai. Maine is attitude se ye kiya hi nahi hai, ki mujhe badla lena hai, ya mujhe kuch vengeance hai kisi ke saath. Aisa kuchh bhi nahi hai.”
She emphasized that the mimicry was simply meant to bring smiles and laughter, not fuel gossip. “I have done it in the spirit of fun. I have done it so that when people see it, people laugh at it. Not say that ‘Are they having some rivalry? Is there a fallout?’ There’s nothing like that guys. Everyone needs to chill. It’s not about rivalry all the time. It’s also about fun.”
Alongside this clarification, Gautami Kapoor also addressed rumors about her husband Ram Kapoor’s dramatic weight loss. She denied the widespread speculation that he used Ozempic, an anti-diabetic drug often associated with weight reduction.
With her honest and composed response, Gautami has put an end to the rumors, reminding fans and followers not to jump to conclusions, especially when things are done in good humor.
