Singer Chinmayi Sripaada, known for not holding back when it comes to calling out problematic behaviour online, didn’t stay silent after coming across an offensive post about actress Mrunal Thakur. The post, which has since been deleted, was shared by a user on X (formerly Twitter) and drew sharp criticism from Chinmayi, who condemned the mentality behind such content.

Responding publicly by quoting the tweet, she wrote, “Some of you should have never been birthed by your mother. I hope the likes of you cease to exist (sic).” Her words sparked support from many others online, who also voiced their anger at the post and its disturbing nature.

People quickly joined in to back Chinmayi’s strong stance. One user commented, “Blame goes to his parents if he has. It’s the kind of environment he grew up that’s reflecting in his words.” Another added, “I admire you for speaking about issues here on X.”

Here is Chinmayi Sripaada’s post:

Her response once again highlighted the need to call out online harassment and promote respect, especially toward women in the public eye.
