Kangana Ranaut Deletes Trump Post

Kangana Ranaut an actor and politician deleted a post on X attacking US President Donald Trump on Thursday after getting a request from BJP national president JP Nadda.

Ranaut, a Mandi MP, responded sharply to Trump’s recent comments criticising Apple’s growth in India in the tweet.

Ranaut had conjectured Trump’s “love loss” for India in a since-deleted post on X, suggesting that the US president was jealous of Modi’s popularity.

“Is this diplomatic insecurity or jealousy?” she had asked in the since-deleted post.

The message was in response to Trump’s statement that he had instructed Apple CEO Tim Cook not to manufacture in India unless the output served India’s domestic market.

During a recent business leaders’ event, Trump criticised Apple’s India plans, citing high tariffs.

In a later post, Ranaut deleted the tweet within hours, saying that BJP chief Nadda had instructed her to remove it.

She wrote, “I regret posting that very personal opinion of mine.” “I immediately removed it from Instagram as well, per instructions.”

Ranaut’s tweet and its quick removal allude to the delicate balancing act India must perform: maintaining strategic alliances overseas while projecting power at home.
