Uttar Pradesh introduces India’s first jungle safari Vistadome train. It’s time to celebrate, animal and nature lovers! The Uttar Pradesh government and Indian Railways launched the country’s first Vistadome jungle safari train service to boost ecotourism. Through this project, the Katarniaghat Wildlife Sanctuary and the Dudhwa Tiger Reserve would be connected.

The Vistadome safari train (Train No. 52259/52260) travels the Bichia to the Mailani tourist passenger route. It takes about 4 hours and 25 minutes to travel 107 kilometers. At just INR 275 per person, the Katarniaghat to Dudhwa stretch ticket is incredibly cheap.
Travel Outbound: Leaves Bichia at 11:45 a.m. and gets to Mailani at 4:10 p.m.
Trip Back: The train departs Mailani at 6:05 a.m. and arrives in Bichia at 10:30 a.m. It stops at nine stations, including Bhira Kheri, Palia Kalan, and Dudhwa.

This project is part of the state’s Ecotourism Board’s “One Destination, Three Forests” theme. It seeks to combine Kishanpur Wildlife Sanctuary, Katarniaghat, and Dudhwa National Park into a unified, enjoyable travel experience.
