In the latest episode of Farah Khan’s cooking vlog, a nostalgic and candid conversation unfolded between the filmmaker and actor Raveena Tandon. Joined by Farah’s cook, Dilip, the trio shared laughs and recipes, but the casual banter soon led to a pointed exchange about a long-rumored feud from the 1994 film Aatish.
Raveena didn’t hesitate to bring up the matter when she questioned Farah about her repeated comments over the years regarding a fallout between her and Karisma Kapoor. “You went everywhere and said that fights were happening on set. When did we fight?” she asked, visibly amused but firm. Farah stuck to her version of events but quickly added a disclaimer: “What did I do? I was sitting with dancers who were my friends, and they were sharing non-veg jokes.”
Farah defended her recollection but also softened her stance, admitting Raveena Tandon hadn’t actively done anything to stir up conflict at the time. The conversation took a more reflective turn when Farah mentioned how the children of all involved now go to the same school, leading to frequent encounters during school events. Raveena nodded in agreement and offered a mature perspective on their younger selves. “We were also kids at that time. We were 20-21 years old. It was classroom politics, and we had to face that.”
Their exchange served as a reminder of how time reshapes narratives. What once felt intense now seems almost humorous in hindsight, as both women laughed off the incident and acknowledged their shared past with new perspective.
