The Miss World 2025 grand finale is scheduled for May 31, 2025. One of the top four continental winners is Nandini Gupta, who is competing for India in the Miss World competition. She participated in the Top Model Challenge portion and secured the spot. This was a feature of the 72nd Miss World pageant, which took place at Hyderabad’s The Trident.
In addition to Gupta, the other three were Aurélie Joachim (Miss Martinique), who represented the Americas and Caribbean; Jasmine Gerhardt (Miss Ireland) from Europe; and Selma Kamanya (Miss Namibia) from Africa. All four have guaranteed their spot in the event’s grand finale.
The Top Model Challenge section of the event featured 108 contestants from around the world, representing their countries and continents. Two finalists from each continent were chosen for the first round of the competition. Miss New Zealand Samantha Poole and Miss India Nandini Gupta were selected from Asia and Oceania. Miss Namibia Selma Kamanya and Miss Côte d’Ivoire Fatoumata Coulibaly were chosen from Africa. Miss Venezuela Valeria Cannavò and Miss Martinique Aurélie Joachim were chosen from the Americas and Caribbean. Miss Ireland Jasmine Gerhardt and Miss Belgium Karen Jansen are from Europe.
Julia Morley CBE, Chairman and CEO of the Miss World Organisation, said, “The Top Model challenge is not just about elegance – it’s about confidence, voice, and heritage walking together. Each contestant tonight reminded us that beauty lies not only in how we look, but in what we stand for. This platform allows us to see the future in these young women; resilient, radiant, and ready to lead.”
